Peter Marshall Steel Stairs installed 8 sets of metal stairs, as part of the construction of a new 482,000 square foot warehouse for DHL Supply Chain.
The site of the new warehouse for DHL Supply Chain is at DP World London Gateway on London Gateway’s Logistics Park. The interior space of the warehouse boasts internal equivalent of 645 Olympic swimming pools. The facility will be completed to a BREEAM Outstanding rating and will be fully automated. DHL are making a significant investment in automation which demonstrates the importance of the site to them as a long term investment.
On completion of the new warehouse project, DHL will lease the facility from DP World London Gateway. DHL will benefit from the right location, infrastructure and the technology to serve Greater London and the South East in the long term.
Peter Marshall Steel Stairs supplied and installed 8 sets of metal stairs, 2 CAT ladders, support structures and mesh enclosures, including twin rail steel balustrades.
