Peter Marshall Steel Stairs have provided an external escape stair incorporating an mesh enclosure for this project at Peterborough’s University Technical College (UTC). It is a new technical college building which the developer believes will become the choice for engineers, builders, designers and architects of the future.
Peterborough’s UTC is the only STEM and built environment specialist school for students aged 13 to 19 in the city.
The external staircase has been designed to connect to the new structure which negates the need for additional bracings to be incorporated, giving the stair and enclosure a visually pleasing appeal.
