Circle Square is a strategic development in Manchester, that is part of the council’s plan to increase investment in the city. The latest part of this regeneration project is the construction of two towers, which will provide BREEAM Excellent Grade A office space.
No. 3 Circle Square is the latest phase of the new development within the Manchester Oxford Road Corridor innovation district. It follows on from the construction of the first two buildings, which are now fully occupied by businesses including Disney Streaming and Octopus Energy.
The new building, located on the corner of Brancaster Road and Princess Street, will provide additional office space over 15 storeys. In addition, it will have ground floor retail and leisure space, as well as a communal lounge, event space, and a roof terrace. No. 3 Circle Square, which will be constructed over a two year period, will align with the Oxford Road Corridor partners 10 year strategic plan to be globally recognised as one of the top five innovation districts in Europe by 2025. There is growing demand for workspaces from science and technology firms, and the growth of Circle Square will help to cement Manchester as one of Europe’s top 20 digital cities.
Peter Marshall Stairs have been asked to supply and install 9 sets of steel stairs and mezzanine balustrades throughout the building by the construction firm, GMI working in conjunction with Billington Structures Ltd. No. 3 Circle Square is also being designed with sustainability and ESG aspects in mind, to minimise its energy consumption.
