20 Ropemaker Street is set to bring more than 400,000ft² of Grade A, BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ office space to the City of London, along with retail opportunities.
The design features stepped heights to create space for five roof terraces, with most of the office floorplates to have balconies, meaning every floor has access to outdoor amenities.
This building has a strong vertical rhythm and steps up to 110m at its tallest point, with the ground-floor office entrances set back to create a striking double-height colonnade.
Marshall Steel Stairs are providing:
- Stair 1 (internal) – 58 flights with 28 half landings, 26 floor landings and 4 quarter landings.
- Stair 2 (internal) – 34 flights with 28 half landings, 11 floor landings and 22 quarter landings.
- Stair 3 (internal) – 1 flight and landing.
- Stair 4 (internal) – 10 flights with 28 half landings, 3 floor landings and 7 quarter landings including support steelwork.
