Originally founded in 1970, the company has developed its experience and expertise to become the leading fabricator of steel staircases for residential, domestic and commercial applications in the UK.
Due to continued growth we are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Drill & Saw operative with Structural Steel experience to join our Gildersome team.
The Role & Responsibilities
This role is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a successful and expanding business. As a CNC Drill & Saw Machine Operative, you must be able to read and fully understand engineering drawings, be computer literate and be able to work with minimal supervision.
The successful candidate will need to have a flexible approach, and experience on other fabrication related machinery would be an advantage.
The hours of work are:- Monday – Friday 39 hours per week
Regular overtime is available, and it is expected a reasonable amount will be done.
Experience / Qualifications
- Experience working with structural steel beams, preferably with at least 5 years’ experience.
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate a competent ability to run a CNC Drill & Saw to a high standard.
