The Role
We wish to appoint a commercially aware, customer focused professional with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels with clients and colleagues and have the capability to manage a varied workload within tight deadlines.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a thorough practical understanding of the estimating process combined with the ability to work from detailed drawings and specifications and ideally possess a relevant qualification in an appropriate technical or engineering related discipline.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- The enquiry process and identifying commercially viable schemes.
- Maintaining and building upon current client relationships and assisting in the development of new client relationships and new business opportunities.
- Ensuring the smooth operation of the estimating and tender process liaising closely with clients and all departments across the business.
- Preparing estimates for structural steel work and associated allied trades.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with architectural metalwork.
